    History:
There is a James Malcolm who was a member of the Scioto Lodge No. 31 and D.D. Grand Master in Portsmouth. I am not sure if this is the same James Malcolm who served in the 140th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Company E (during the American Civil War) and whose daughter, Lizzie Malcolm, appears in the Ohio Soldiers & Sailors Orphans Home. This James Malcolm died in 1883 so it is possible Malcolm was the son of the man who was a Grand Master in the I.O.O.F. in the 1840s. Alexander Aitken was a member of the same lodge as Malcolm and was the husband of Sarah Yeager.
Dr. S.L. Fuller (1838-1909) was a medical doctor who served as a surgeon in 21st Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry during the American Civil War. After the war he practiced in Detroit, Milwaukee and Chicago. He was a member of the Du Sac Lodge No. 62 in 1847.
