1970 Hemi Engine 426 Short block Factory original w tag & crate w pistons rods

Description

For sale is an original factory nos 1970 426 HEMI short block in the original factory crate (made in Marysville Michigan.  The date code on the block is 1-19-70.  The engine still has the blue tag on it, as seen in the photos.  It is a standard short block with the rods, pistons, crankshaft, and the main bearings already in it.  It was covered in Cosmoline, however parts have worn off where it was not covered. This block does not have a vin number, as it was never put into a car.  If you are restoring a car and need an original engine, then this is what you need. I will not dissemble or sell items from this engine separately.  The original crate measures 30 x 21 x 18.5 inches.  I will put it on a pallet and use a Hi-Lo to load onto the truck.
I have not recently seen any other 1970 original replacement blocks in the original crates.  Please do not contact me with any ridiculous offers.
